چکیده
Introduction: The study was conducted to assess the stress and displacement effects of a mini-implant supported k-loop on maxillary dentition for distalization with 3-dimensional (3D) finite element analysis. Materials Methods: A 3D model maxilla all teeth, periodontal ligament, bone, mini-implants, brackets, archwire used in this study. analytic like wire, K-loop, mini-implants developed using reverse engineering technique extracting dimensional details physical parts precision measuring instruments. Results: distobuccal movement first molar second were 0.26864 mm 0.00833 mm, respectively. total 0.25 intrusion seen distal cusp 0.14 extrusion mesial molar. 0.00260 molar, 0.00324 Conclusions: There large amount also negligible tipping premolar.

Maxillary molar distalization with the dual-force distalizer supported by mini-implants: a clinical study.
INTRODUCTION The objective of this prospective study was to describe the clinical effects of a bone-supported molar distalizing appliance, the dual-force distalizer. METHODS The study group included 16 patients (mean age, 14.3 years) with Class II molar relationships. Study models and lateral cephalograms were taken before and after the distalizing movement to record significant dental and sk...
متن کاملFinite element analysis of three designs of an implant-supported molar crown.
STATEMENT OF PROBLEM The optimal method of implant support for a single mandibular molar crown is controversial because commonly used, threaded, root-form implants developed by Branemark were not originally designed to support individual crowns. PURPOSE The purpose of this study was to develop a finite element model of a single mandibular first molar crown supported by (1) a standard 3.75-mm-...

متن کاملAnalysis of a force system for upper molar distalization using a trans-palatal arch and mini-implant: a finite element analysis study.
The purpose of this study was to analyse distal movements of molars in a force system using a trans-palatal arch (TPA), fixed to the maxillary first molar, and mini-implants placed at the palatal midline, considering the diagnostic standard for placement site in association with variation in upper molar locations, using finite element (FE) analysis. Three-dimensional FE models, divided by the d...
متن کاملComparison of Maxillary Molar Distalization with an Implant-Supported Distal Jet and a Traditional Tooth-Supported Distal Jet Appliance
Aim. To investigate and compare the efficiency of two appliances for molar distalization: the bone-anchored distal screw (DS) and the traditional tooth-supported distal jet (DJ) for molar distalization and anchorage loss. Methods. Tests (18 subjects) were treated with a DS and controls (18 subjects) were treated with a DJ. Lateral cephalograms were obtained before and at the end of molar distal...
